The Golf Swing Room
The Swing Room is a fantastic indoor, “virtual” golf facility that gives golfers the opportunity to practice and play all year round in a purpose built room. Golfers can play with their own clubs either on their own or with friends. Whatever the Scottish weather, golfers can hire the Swing Room and play some of the best courses in the world. So if it’s a round at Augusta, St Andrews or Gleneagles you want to play book the swing room at KSC now.
The Golf Range
Our pay and play purpose built golf range is open to the public, no booking is necessary. The golf range is floodlit and can be used anytime for practice or lessons when the club is open.

A card is given and stamped to record usage.

Grant Gilmour Golf Pro
In 2010 Kilwinning Sports Club became the new home and base for local PGA Professional golf coach Grant Gilmour and his golf coaching business which today plays an important role in developing and promoting golf at Kilwinning Sports Club in local schools and in the wider community.
Grant Gilmour is an experienced golf coach and a member of the Professional Golfers Association for over 25 years, having been Club Professional at Paisley Golf Club in Renfrewshire. Since 1997 has coached at leading Golf Academies across Europe in the Netherlands, Spain and Germany and now offers his coaching methods and philosophies here at KSC.
Ayrshire Junior Golf Academy
Established in 2010 with the aim of giving young people the opportunity to learn, play, have fun and enjoy the game of golf in a dedicated and safe environment.
The Junior Stars training programme is for girls and boys of ages from 5 – 18 years and is structured to help develop a young players agility, balance and co-ordination while learning the golfing fundamentals through fun games, skill challenges and exercise.
In addition to our Junior Stars coaching the Junior golf Pathway is a partnership with local Golf Clubs to give our young players the opportunity to become a Junior member and begin playing the game on dedicated shorter golf courses with the chance to gain their first handicap and play in competitions.
